Matthew Clifton-Hadley
Chiropractor
Matthew qualified from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2009. He has had a passion for chiropractic from a young age as his father was a chiropractor. Having had many sporting injuries fixed in his youth through chiropractic care Matthew decided that it would be the profession for him. Having qualified he has spent the last seven years practising at the Waldegrave clinic in Teddington. Here he has refined his skills under the tutorage of some of the best chiropractors in the UK. Working at the waldegrave clinic has also allowed Matthew to treat many elite level sportsmen and women, from premiership football and rugby players to olympic athletes.
Matthew now lives in Surbiton and has always wanted to set up his own clinic, when the opportunity arose to open a clinic at Surbiton Health Centre it seemed to good to turn down. Matthew enjoys treating all patients, from the olympic athlete to his 90 year old nan. He uses a range of techniques to help people recover from injury and return to their full potential. These include spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques, dry needling, taping and exercise rehabilitation. Through a mixture of these techniques Matthew reduces a patients pain, improves their function and prevents the return of injury. Matthew believes that chiropractors shouldn’t just relieve pain but also prevent the reoccurrence of injuries. He attends numerous conferences through the year to maintain his current knowledge and to advance his knowledge of different treatment techniques. In his spare time Matthew is a keen sportsman, playing golf whenever possible. This is becoming harder though due to a growing young family. Freddie and Florence keep him on his toes most of the time.
